Does What I Need It Too...
Without causing any of the skin around or under my eyes to get red. peel, itch, burn, etc. I can tell this will last a long time too. Been using this for several weeks and I really like it. My skin is so temperamental to retinol I just use any eye creams with that in them. This eye cream is gentle on my skin and it hydrates so well.

Not enough product for the price
Not very happy to open a brand new eye cream and see very little product inside. So much empty space! I really hope mine just happened to be a bad batch and not all of them look like this. Don’t think I’ll get much use out it.

Seemed ok at first...
I bought this a couple of months ago as an addition to my new skincare routine, and while I didn’t use it religiously, it seemed to work, but it could have been a placebo effect as well. But a couple of weeks ago I had used it and woke up with bloodshot goopy eyes. I thought it was just a really bad allergy day, but my eyes took a couple of days to calm down and heal. But I used it again a couple of days ago and my eyes weren’t only puffy and bloodshot and puffy but they were actually painful this time. I will definitely NOT be using this again.

Thumbs up
I used this eye cream every morning when i wake and every night before bed until I ran out yesterday (January 22, 2019). Some if the claims of this product are completely true while others didn't make the cut. This cream is so light and easy to apply. It didn't feel greasy or heavy. It was almost like dabbing water. My eyes felt refreshed and moisturized throughout the day. But my dark circles remain. I'll be honest, they look a whole lot better than they did a year ago, but the claim made it seem like they would vanish. But no, just fade a smidgen. But just because of how hydrated my eyes feel and how good the product felt, I would by it again.

Reaction to Product
For the price, I thought I couldn't go wrong with trying this! I read reviews prior and fortunately, did not experience the tingling and burning I saw noted elsewhere. The product is easy to apply and feels great upon application. However, after the first three days, the skin around my eyes felt very itchy and I noticed several white bumps and a reddish rash. My skin might just be too sensitive for this product, but I am glad I tried it. While I don't plan to use it again, I have not had any problems with other elf products and would definitely recommend other offerings.

What are some of the stores that have a good variety of e.l.f. products to purchase ? I have heard alot of good things about your products, really would like to try a few, without having to pay shipping and handling.
They also carry elf at rite aid and CVS now. I've been using most elf products before they became popular. I love they're products. They should give them to me! Lol!

I have been using the e.l.f. illuminatin eye cream for a while... I just tried to purchase it at walmart and it wouldn't allow the cashier to scan it said it was recalled. Can you tell me why? I cant find anything on line why it was recalled, thank you
I'm not a dermatologist or any kind of medical professional, but the answer to your questions ladies is very clear. With all the other negative comments about burning, peeling skin around the eye area, E,.L.F. Cosmetics obviously are recalling these products. Research has probably been done and it is possible they may have updated the product. So just maybe the problem has been corrected. Why not contact E.L.F. customer service and ask if he item has ben recalled, why , if a new product will soon be available, etc .☺

Does this do a good job at lightening under eye circles?
I have noticed my eye circles are not as dark, which is amazing considering how little sleep I get lol

I purchased the illuminating eye cream from a local Target and after having used the cream day and night for two days I have noticed that shortly after dabbing it under my eyes I feel tingling and a slight burning sensation, is that meant to happen?
I've not had this issue, but your eye area is super sensitive so it's probably sensitive to something in the formula

My local CVS just started carrying e.l.f. cosmetics. I have extremely sensitive skin. I cannot wear most mascaras due to sensitivity. Can you please elaborate on the ingredients in e.l.f. products? Are they considered hypoallergenic and/or organic?
I would not recommend this product for your skin since it is very sensitive. I also have very sensitive skin and this caused my under eye area to peel and flake off, as well as burn when applied. I used it only about 4 times when it started happening.

Can this be used twice a day or should it only be used once a day?
Recommended use morning and Night after cleansing. Apply gently around your under eye area with soft dabs or tapping into the skin, not rubbing. I apply in a raccoon pattern around my eyes, going from under eyes to temples, and above my eye brows.
