Love this product!
I have been using this product for a long time and will continue to do so. The finish it gives is fantastic! My skin feels like silk and my makeup glides on. Helps "undefine" some of my wrinkles and keeps my makeup in place longer! Lol! It does have a "shimmery" finish but nothing I feel unsure about wearing. I am a "mature" nurse with one chance to look good for 12 hour shifts and this definitely helps! Even some of the younger nurses ask what I use for makeup! Thank you for making a larger size...I am ordering soon!!!

Noooooooooooooo
Why’s there glitter in it?....
I understand that this is supposed to make your skin look luminous but GLITTER doesn’t achieve that :\

Not for everyone I suppose..
This is a great product in that it does as advertised, it gives you a glow. Luminous? No, unfortunately more of a shimmery golden cast across the skin. Women of color could rock this better and itd be great for wearing instead of a shimmery dry body oil. It still blurs and smoothes but it texturizes even the most even of skin on the face. I think I'd be better suited for the body. You could wear this to the beach and itd look amazing across wet tanned skin. Just not for the face. Sorry elf guess I'll have to try another primer this just wasn't to my taste. 3/5. Not my cup of tea I suppose.

It's not that great
I just bought this thinking it was supposed to leave my face looking shiny and glowing but I looked like a disco ball trying this out. I did not like it because it looked like I put highlight all over my face and it just dosent look good on me. If your into glitter go for it but this is not for anyone who wants a simple face primer.

Highlight in primer
I ordered this cuz i love to shine. I didn't realize there was highlighter in the primer. It gets everywhere and is pus yellow. Love elf, but i'm sad i paid money to show off every inconsistency of my skin! That's literally the whole point to using a primer!

Not for me
I have been looking for a more illuminated look, so I tried this. It is too glittery for me. Not a subtle glow at all. I couldn’t get past unnatural shimmer. I’m too old.

Can’t live without this primer!
I have been using this primer for 2 months & I just love how soft it makes my skin feel. My foundation goes on smoothly & I never have any streaks or creases now. I never put on makeup without putting on this primer first. Love it!

I LOVE IT!!
I have tried so many things to make my face glow like it use too without looking spotty, chunky or made my makeup go on horrible! THIS THOUGH IS EVERYTHING!! MY first time using it and then applying my foundation I was amazed and how my skin flowed I didn’t even need to use powder or my tan powder to give my face color. I am so happy with this I can’t wait to keep using it! Plus the hydration it gives your face is everything! WILL BE BUYIG FOREVER! And thank you ELF I love your products they are amazing and a awesome priced!

Does this contain glitter?

Technically, no. When one thinks of glitter, the normal craft polyester glitters come to mind. But this product contains a mineral called "Mica", which comes in 37 different colours and is mined and recovered from the Earth in "sheets", since its Moh's Hardness scale varies by small margins (some Micas are much harder than others) and it comes off in literal flakes. It's from the family chemically known as "silicates" with a variety of chemical formulas. The seven most popular, however, give a shimmer with hues of purple, lapidolite, black biotite, brown phlogopite, and the one most commonly used in make-up products, Clear Muscovite which has a pearly sheen to it. Any time you see a product with the words "Illuminating", "reflective", or even "glow" (or some synonym thereof), you can be certain it will contain mica. It has a brilliant shimmer to it that is often mistaken for the polyester glitters, so no, it's entirely different. (I'm a scientist.) Cheers.
