Power Grip Primer has BEEN that girl, and now you can get it jumbo size! I've went through several tubes of this primer and was excited to learn elf made a jumbo size. Thanks to elf, I was restocked with a free jumbo size to review! This primer has lasting power! It helps to create a sticky base for foundation to stick to, giving me a flawless base for the entirety of my 12 hour shifts. Not only is this product great, but also affordable! I have already purchased the smaller version of this product several times and will now be purchasing the jumbo size! I recommend this product to makeup users of all skill. Tip: As with any makeup product, skin prep is key! Be sure to exfoliate your skin and moisturize. After your skin care has had time to absorb, go in with the primer and give that a minute or so to get tacky! Doing this will only make your grip primer even better, ensuring a smooth base and long lasting results.

I love that it will last me a long time!

I received this a couple weeks ago and I love it. I use the regular size elf power grip primer for almost 2 years now. It’s still the same consistency, same results as the regular size it is just in a jumbo packaging. I loveeee it!

Long lasting!

I just bought this and I’m in love with it! It keeps my make up on all day long! And makes my skin feel amazing!

Helps depending on application

*received for free to test* I tried this in 3 different ways and this is what I found: I tested using my usual routine, where I apply my foundation with a brush, both my whole face and splitting my face half primer, half no primer. I also tried it full face but instead using my hands which I'll explain in my review. When using a brush to apply my foundation, I didn't notice much of a difference. Both in filling my pores (the main benefit of primer) or lengthening longevity of my makeup. I suspected that my brush application was moving the primer out of my pores despite waiting the 30 seconds recommended on the back. I don't even have a makeup sponge so I just tested this with my hands, using my fingers to tap the foundation into my skin as well as I could, trying to avoid "smearing" the primer underneath similar to the way you'd apply with a makeup sponge. This time I do think I saw a difference in how smooth my skin looked. I am a firm believer that a product should work with any application style or should otherwise have a recommendation on the back. Overall, I do think it makes a difference IF you use a makeup sponge to apply your foundation on top. I don't think it's a revolutionary product but it is a good product. Just not for me.

Light feel, great primer!

I received this product as a complimentary sample and I was very impressed by what I received. The primer is very light and goes on smoothly and does not feel sticky. It holds great and really helps the length of the makeup application significantly. Very happy with this product!

Lives up to the hype!

This product definitely lives up to all the hype it gets. I had not tried it until now and it’s great! It is just tacky enough without being too sticky. It feels very hydrating and leaves makeup super smooth over top. The jumbo size is great as well because you won’t have to restock as much! I was sent this product complimentary in exchange for this review but the review is completely honest!

Fine, but sticky

It was fine. I found that it was a bit sticky for my liking and made my face feel heavier. I don’t usually use primer. It definitely made my makeup look smoother and lasted longer, but I can’t say I’d use it every day.
