I’ve been using the power grip primer since freshman year of college (TWO YEARS) and I’ve loved it ever since. I loved the niacin-amide one as well (great for the skin and great addition to skin care). Overall recommend it!!

$10 Primer Works Like It’s $50

Okay so… I finally tried the e.l.f. Power Grip Primer (Base Slayer) and let me tell you… I’m OBSESSED. Honestly? It blows a lot of other primers out of the water, specially some of them that are 3 times the price. I’ve tried a bunch; some feel too slippery, some do nothing at all. But this one actually does what it says. It has that slightly tacky finish that helps your makeup stick in the best way possible. It kind of reminds me of the Milk Hydro Grip, but waaaay more affordable. My makeup literally does not budge with this on. It’s super affordable but works like a high-end product. Makes my makeup last all day. No sliding, no creasing. Feels nice and hydrating without being greasy. Works great with both dewy and matte foundations. The pump is cute and easy to use (no mess, no waste). I already know I’m going to repurchase once I run out. It’s one of those products that just works and now I don’t want to do my makeup without it. I absolutely recommend it. I’ve already told a few friends to grab it. Whether you’re into full glam or just a little concealer and go, this primer gives you that flawless base that stays. It’s a total must-have in my book.

Makes makeup last longer

I am incredibly happy with this primer. It grips my makeup and makes it look super smooth and natural. It also lasts all day as well. Overall, I love it and will definitely be purchasing again. 10/10!

Not for me but I can see why people love it

I am not the biggest fan of these types of primers because I don't like the feel of it but when I use it, I can see why people love it. for me it's more of a texture thing but the primer works great.

Worth It.

10/10. It glides on so smoothly onto my skin and settles down nicely, leaving my skin sticky for my foundation to hold on to. It helped me achieve a flawless base with oily skin. It doesn't have an overwhelming scent either. And for 3x the original amount is so worth it, saves the constant run back to the store for more.

Got this as a sample and did not disappoint!! First time using it and make up really does sticks to it!! Did not feel heavy on face. Started using it everyday and a game changer for my routine. Will definitely repurchase once i’m out.

Great hold

This Power Grip is some of the best I’ve ever tried!! All day hold, not tacky feeling once dried! I will definitely use again!
