Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just a Good brush This is a good brush, not a great brush. I say that only because I have the hardest time actually cleaning it. I use E.L.F. shampoo but there is still residue left on the brush. No problems with it's use, its effective. I just can't get it clean.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it made applying lip tints , tars , balm, and fancy lipstick much easier

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not at all like picture I wasn't expecting high quality, but this isn't even pointed like the picture indicates because the bristles are all the same length, plus the bristles want to fray outwards.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Brush This brush is the worst lip brush. It isn't even worth $1. This brush shed so much and it was far too flimsy to make a precise application on my lips. Save your time and get the studio brush.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not tapered, horrible as a lip brush I thought I was buying the same product that was shown, but I received brushes that had a blunt tip. The bristles were not tapered, shed and splayed like crazy. I begrudgingly tried to use this brush with depotted lipstick and what a HUGE mistake. There are now brush bristles that I have to pick out of the product and the brush wasn't stiff enough to apply my lip product in any "defining" manner.

Are these brushes synthetic?

Asked by: ADickson
Yes. All elf brushes are synthetic and all the makeup but the eyeliner pencil are vegan. (Eyeliner pencil has beeswax last time I checked.)

I need the thin handled brush to dip out the lip gloss from the bottom.  Most lip gloss companies use an applicator that doesn't go all the way to the bottom and you waste about 1/4 of the lip gloss. I need a thin handled brush. Will this fit?

Asked by: zprnsis
Depends on the size of the lipstick container. It will definitely be long enough, but may be too thick to fit in the bottle. I have this same issue, and hate wasting lipstick, so worse comes to worse, use a paintbrush.

Can this be used to apply precise liner with shadows under the eye?

Asked by: Bombshell
yes, but the line probably wouldn't be very thin. the studio line has a better brush for precision
