Upgrade!

I used to use elf's Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer & it worked alright, but when I ran out, I didn't repurchase. Since then, I've been going without primer & my eyeshadow has always disappeared into the crease of my eyelid within a couple hours. I used this today & it has held up for over 10 hours so far...I love this thing!

Not a fan

I had used the original primer for years and felt it worked great in the heat and humidity of southern summers. This new product is too fluid, feels oily and does not have the tint that I liked for brightening the lid. I will not buy again and would love e.l.f to bring back the original product.

I just repurchased this for the second time! It works really well, it applies smoothly and it definitely makes my eyeshadow more pigmented and it lasts so much longer. If you have oily eyelids it’s fantastic for the longevity of your eyeshadow

Fantastic Primer

Love this primer - silky and easy to apply. Makes eyeshadow last for ages and makes the colours pop. Highly recommend!

A Goopy Mess

I was looking forward to trying an eye primer. When I opened it and put it on my eyelid it was a big goopy mess! I would return it if I could.

Bring back the original primer

This new version is oily. It does not leave a tint. I used the original version to brighten my eye lids, even if I wasn't wearing eye shadow. This version is not the same. This is the first elf product I used, many years ago. I have expanded the products I use, as elf has expanded the line. However, this is a disappointing change.

Eye Shadow Primer

I’m still waiting to receive it. I think I ordered it about two weeks ago and when I track my shipment, it says “in transit”. Sigh 😞

Formula has changed for the worse

I have been using the eyeshadow primer for years. Bought a new package of it(in this black container) and it’s so watery. Not a creamy texture like the old version in the longer skim cream colored container. Will be looking for a different brand to use.
