A Goopy Mess

I was looking forward to trying an eye primer. When I opened it and put it on my eyelid it was a big goopy mess! I would return it if I could.

Bring back the original primer

This new version is oily. It does not leave a tint. I used the original version to brighten my eye lids, even if I wasn't wearing eye shadow. This version is not the same. This is the first elf product I used, many years ago. I have expanded the products I use, as elf has expanded the line. However, this is a disappointing change.

Eye Shadow Primer

I’m still waiting to receive it. I think I ordered it about two weeks ago and when I track my shipment, it says “in transit”. Sigh 😞

Formula has changed for the worse

I have been using the eyeshadow primer for years. Bought a new package of it(in this black container) and it’s so watery. Not a creamy texture like the old version in the longer skim cream colored container. Will be looking for a different brand to use.

Bring back the e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer

I've been using the e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer for years. I was finally able to wear eyeshadow and keep it on without creasing. Even in Arizona 110+ degree days! This new product does not work as well for me. I haven't found anything comparable yet. Just wasting money.

I tried this eyeshadow primer and it didn't apply easily. I've used another brand for around the same price, it does much better.

it’s equally as bad as the original

now just like the title says, the original eye shadow primer and this new one are both different yes, but both are equally as bad. this new one applies as a beautiful base but once you start to blend, it immediately comes off, it doesn’t matter if you blend it with your fingers, blending sponge, or a brush. or even if you leave it on for a few more seconds or minutes, it will come off. you’re better off using your concealer

Not Sticky With The Shadow

I really tried to like this. Unfortunately, it doesn't make/cause my shadow or sticks to stay even half a day.
