Rated 5 out of 5 by from This stuff is amazing! i have had issues with my foundation application all my life, i have oily acne prone skin and huge pores. Needless to say I have not had luck with foundation until i started using this! It really does make all the difference! Paired with the right primer and application, my horrible skin looked flawless! If you have bad skin and want an effective way to cover it up i highly recommend using this with your foundation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing product I was a little dubious after reading the reviews but thought at the price I would give it a try as I am not keen to add a finishing powder on top of foundation but want a clean, polished & flawless look. I use this powder with the ELF treatment foundation by adding the makeup to the powder then gently mixing together then applying to my face. What a difference it makes! I am completely wowed by this product and you get so much in the pot, it will last for ages and ages. Very impressed with the staying power, do not need to touch up at all during the day and my make up stays as fresh as it was the minute I put it on until I remove before bed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for mineral foundation as well I add a dash of this with my mineral powder foundation and it really keeps me matte all day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where Have You Been All My Life? I'm 60 years old with an under eye wrinkle "problem" in that everything I put on my face accentuates those wrinkles. I also have large pores and every foundation I've tried or primer or concealer cannot correct it. I tried this powder under my foundation this morning and I'm amazed at the difference. It does not make you too matte but evens out enough to cover pores and minimizes the look of my wrinkles with makeup over it! I love this product. I used it with e.l.f. color corrector and I love how it makes me look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Something different So I generally have dry skin (and I am good at reading directions), but after using face oil and moisturizing primer and dewy products, even dry skin gets too shiny. So while I have never mixed this with foundation, I have used it after moisturizing primer, very sparingly. What I am left with is a canvas that bb cream or dewy foundation can cover smoothly. It also makes my face so freaking smooth and soft. It replaces a finishing powder for me because I have no shiny spots. Everything just looks smooth and flawless on my very flawed skin. Try this. Use just a little. Figure out how it works best for you, but don't put it all over your finished face and expect to not have a cast. Oh, im also pale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flawless Saw this at the store and thoight I'd give it a try. My skin is super oily so I will try anything that claims to make my skin matte. This is the closest any product has come to making me remotely happy. I have only used it as a primer powder and it leaves you matte and poreless upon application. Although eventually my oils seeped through, my skin still looked great and makeup didn't look like a hot mess!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All I Have to Say is Wow I definitely did not know the directions for applying this powder but that's my fault for tearing the package open in excitement. I bought this because I have a foundation with an excessively dewy finish but it makes my skin look great so i went for it. Despite my lack of knowledge on how to use this product, I applied this over my foundation and all I have to say is, "wow!" My foundation finish is matte but what's best is it doesn't transfer. Next time I'll put it on per the directions but this stuff is the truth.

So this is not a setting powder and does not work for baking? Is it just to be used by mixing with foundation?

Asked by: Vicky85
That is correct, our suggested use for this product is to mix a pearl-sized amount with your foundation to give you a mattified look. If you would like a little bit of extra oil control, you may dust lightly with the product before foundation application.

Would this "Un-ash" my foundation ?

Asked by: RadientC
This product is not formulated to correct your foundation from looking ashy, although it will mattify your look and reduce shine. We think you may be using a foundation with an incorrect undertone which is causing the ashiness.

My mascara by the end of the day ends up on my eyelids, I assume because my skin is oily and as I get older my lids have dropped. Would this product stop my mascara from doing this ?

Asked by: Natnat0756
You certainly may dust this product on your eyelids and this can help with keeping your eyelids matte, however we would suggest using a waterproof mascara to prevent the smudging/transferring that you are describing.

I use a combo of moisturizer and BB cream for a light coverage vs. foundation. My skin, however is very, very oily and I am looking for something to mattify it. Would this be appropriate to mix into my combo?

Asked by: CBieller
Yes, you may mix this product with the current routine you are using.

1. Do I need to set the foundation with a powder/translucent powder after like I would a normal foundation or no? 2. Does this change the consistency or look of the foundation itself?

Asked by: jennyfromtheblock
You do not need to use an additional product to set your foundation. It changes the foundation to a velvety, matte finish and increases how long it will last.
