Additional Information

Metallic Lip Crayon is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick, Cheap Metallic Lip These are very smooth and creamy. I got the rose gold, which is more of a medium bronze, and the mauve, which isn't too purple-y and has a nice reddish brown tone. Since these are metallic, they tend to show some of the creases in my lips. They look better with lip liner, and great topped with gloss. I did find that they can get a bit mushy if they warm up when I'm traveling, but that's only happened once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long lasting beauty Received this the other day and couldn’t wait to try it! Paired the magnetic mauve up with the prismatic lipgloss in amethyst to create a glamorous look of sparkle and shine that lasted the entire day. Also have this in Rose Gold which is just as beautiful especially when paired up with the prismatic lipgloss in rose quartz.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ehhh I purchased the mauve color, when I got it I tried it on and it was waaaaaaay more purple than I was expecting or wanting. It went on super smooth though, I’ll probably try another color.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Ordered Rosegold... was excited to get this and try it out. However would not consider this color a "Rosegold". Its VERY DARK BRONZE with no rose or pink tone at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better then I thought My package came a few days ago and I was so excited. I ordered all 3 colors and they are better then I ever thought. The pigment is nice and it stays on all day. I got so many complements and I am very happy with all 3 color! Hope you guys put out some more colors!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great formulation, color not as pictured I bought this lip crayon in Metallic Mauve, thinking it would be a soft, metallic color similar to the color of my lips. It arrived today, I tried it on and Yeow - the color is a dark blackberry metallic. Not a look I wanted at age 70! I am a Rouge at a specialty cosmetic company, so I do have experience with colors, textures, etc. I do like the feel and the way it goes on, but this one is being given away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review on All Three Colors Out of curiosity, I purchased all three colors from this line. The Rose Gold is a pinky-brownish nude with gold shimmer, making it perfect for everyday wear. The Radiant Rouge is a dark magenta or cranberry color with hardly any shimmer—use gloss or elf's pout perfecter to add shimmer if desired, suitable for festive occasions and parties. Magnetic Mauve, the strangest color out of the three, is a dark purple with silver shimmer. I am not sure if I could pull this off for everyday wear, but it is an interesting color that may look better on other complexions. Anyhow, you definitely want to prime or line your lips beforehand, as elf suggests in the directions, and set with loose powder through a thin tissue to keep it long-lasting throughout the day. The formula mimics their matte lipstick line, so it goes on creamy and dries down to a matte finish. Despite using bolder colors, a caveat with some other reviewers, I think they are flattering and have just enough subtle shimmer to them; thereby, giving my lips a fuller appearance which is needed in my case. I must say Radiant Rose was my favorite out of the three, and I strongly suspect that it will be a big seller for elf. That being said, go ahead and try these, you might surprise yourself by seeing how good some of the colors look on you. Hoping if elf is reading my review, that they will follow up with additional colors like a soft pink, sheer coral, and maybe a warmer red. See my photos below for a side-by-side comparison.

Do they come with a sharpener of some sort, like the matte lipsticks do on the bottom?
