Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great color & feel, not long lasting It looks great and feels great, but got on everything (it smudged outside the lip line, got on my hair, hand, drinking glasses, etc). It’s great for a picture, but I won’t use it daily - way too messy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Should I be worried about this? I love this lipstick, its a beautiful color (cheeky) and is exactly as described. However the little bottom lip pot almost looks like it has been dug into or scooped into there with a spatula. My other elf lipstick pots don't look like this at all. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm kind of afraid to use the lip pot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best. Lipstick. Ever. I normally don't wear lipsticks because they dry my lips out and then I almost always inevitably get a cold sore after wearing them (new or not), so I have gone through more lipstick tubes than a person should at my age. These are great because they are super pigmented without being drying. For added softness, I use the elf exfoliating lip scrub before and after, and then I apply lemon balm and coconut oil to my lips before bed. They do transfer and wear like a normal lipstick, but I really only have to reapply after meals. I own a couple of these different colors, so I'll give a run-down on each of them in case you have a hard time deciding like I did! I have fair, freckled skin (on the warm side) with auburn hair and gray eyes. Crazy Cranberry is a great darker warm red with pinkish undertones. The coverage on it isn't as great as the others that I have, but it's still awesome and I love the color. Orange Dream is my favorite, but DO NOT buy it if you don't like the color orange. It is super vibrant, almost highlighter vibrant, but it's super pigmented and so much fun. Plus, of all of them I noticed it stays the longest on me. I'm not big on Ravishing Rose just because I don't really like pink shades, but it's also very pigmented and I could see it being flattering for lots of people. I wear it occasionally, but I'll probably try out a couple different pinks next time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth Application I always love e.l.f. lipsticks as they come with an extra pot of gloss hidden on the bottom of the tube. However, the plus is the absolutely wonderful consistency of the lipstick! It's buttery and applies evenly with one stroke. It never takes more than two swipes to completely cover my lips. This is certainly a go-to lipstick, and I am considering ordering other shades! (I currently only have red carpet and flirty and fabulous)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good! I am a huge make up lover, and I absolutely adore matte lipsticks, but I have to take medication, and that sometimes leaves my lips rather dry . I was excited to see how this formula compared to some of my other higher end brands, and I am very pleased. I bought the shade pink minx, as I thought it was going to be a nice nude pink like the swatch showed . When the lipstick arrived I was a little bit surprised to see that it is actually a light coral in real life. Going back to the website I realize that the picture of the lipstick tube actually shows the real color, while the swatch is a little off. While I was a little bit disappointed in the shade confusion, I am still very happy with the lipstick shade, as it is still nude-ish and is very unique to my collection. The lipstick it’s self has a very smooth, almost satiny finish, and feels very nice on the lips. Do you lipstick has really nice pigmentation, and goes on in just a few swipes. The lipstick has a very faint fragrance, but I don’t notice it when it’s on my lips. It is also worth mentioning that this lipstick does have a fair amount of glitter in it, so you might have a little bit left when you take it off. I haven’t been able to test the wear of this product, but since it is only 3$, I don’t think it would be an issue to have to keep re-buying it.

I know that the clear bottom is a lip balm, but I cannot get it off. It's stuck. Does anyone know how to get it off without breaking my lipstick?

Asked by: Briana28
I wiggled it back and forth. Make sure the cap is on and it helps get the cover off...

Is the picture for razzle dazzle red true to its shade in person.  If not, is it lighter or darker in person?  Thanks.

Asked by: Hot Lips
Razzle dazzle is a little more orange and shimmery in person

Do the bottom so really come off as a lip balm or whatever? ive seen some reviews saying they do, but either both of mine are stuck or I just can't figure out how to get it off.

I never knew this either!! I pried it off with my teeth, not the best way but the only way I could get it off :D

I recently purchased Black Berry and Bordeux Beauty but I am having a very hard time getting the lipsticks to stay on evenly. They very patchy and some areas are darker than others. The black berry is really bad. I am wondering if I am applying wrong?

Asked by: Jess626
I had the same problem at first but it really has to do with the application technique. I have found that if you carefully swipe it back forth on your lips to get an opaque layer of color and then dab your lips with clean tissue to remove the excess you can get an even color that will not easily just transfer off. I wear berry black and backout with great results, and my lips stay moist with this lipstick. I do recommend using a lip liner before putting on the lipstick and than use a bit of conealer to help cover up mistakes. Alternativly, use a lip brush for better control when applying the lipstick.

Is the black berry lipstick not on sell anymore? I can't find it in the list, but i can look it up.

Asked by: cloudee
I got the blackberry a few months ago, it was streaky, clumpy, inconsistent pigmentation. I can only assume they're fixing the formula.
