Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was really looking forward to this eyeshadow palette, but when I got it and tried it out there was tons of fallout, no pigment. It's ok for a kids play makeup.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from pigmentation is horrible i was excited for this palette. The dark shades show up but all the other shades which is 95% of the palette have horrible pigmentation. The purples barely show up. Very disappointed. If i cant give it away Im going to just throw it in the trash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New go to palette I’ve used a lot of drugstore palettes, my favorite used to be Milani but now it’s opposites attract. These shadows are super pigmented but also easy to blend so it’s easy to get colorful looks without shades getting muddy or patchy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty shades but hard to work with I'm not going to lie, I was soooo excited when I saw this on social media and so I got it. I tried both the warm tones and the cool tones and dang it, they're just hard to work with... you need to put a lot of effort in doing a look. And build and build. And make sure it doesn't blend away later. The satins are not even as satiny as I thought they would be. My favorite shadow is Chill probably. It looks stunning all over the lid. I was disappointed by the purply duo-chromey one. I wanted to love this so bad but it just isn't as good as we thought. Looks can be deceiving, my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from E.L.F. Has Joined The Big Boys With This Palette This palette comes to you in a clear plastic sleeve with the description of the palette written in white. The palette itself is plastic with the e.l.f. logo on the cover as well as the name of the palette, 'Opposites Attract.' You receive 0.62 oz of product in this palette for 14.00 which breaks down to less than 80 cents per pan. Once opened, according to the package, the shelf life is 12 months. Like all of elf products it is cruelty free. The packaging reminds me very much of Viseart packaging. The palette itself has a mixture of mattes and shimmer shades, 9 cool 9 warm, hence the opposites attract name. I like the way the palette is laid out and that the colors have names. Big plus for me. The colors themselves swatched beautifully, I was impressed at how pigmented and creamy they felt. But swatches are one thing, how they play on the eyes is another so I put the palette through the paces. First off, I always use a primer on my lids, so I did use a primer with this palette. My initial reaction was how little fall out there was and how easily they blended. These are pigmented so you do not have to dip your brush into the pan to get color, if you do you will get kickup. So go at them with a light hand, tap off excess and build as needed. I loved Fresh, used it all over my lid to set my primer. I ended up doing a halo eye using pretty much all the warm tones as well as the color Wise from the cool side. I also dipped into Genuine to smudge out my outer corner and was surprised how much it looked like charcoal, loved the smoky look. If you like a smudgy, black charcoal look you will love the color Genuine. All of the colors played well together, not muddy, easy to blend. The only color I was not truly impressed with was Low-Key. It is a very light whitish shimmer shade with a bit of pink shift to it. I used it to highlight my brow bone. It is a decent eyeshadow, just not my favorite color. The colors wore beautifully. I am completely impressed and would recommend this palette over any of the ABH's palettes any day. This palette is perfect for fall. I highly recommend this palette.
