Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice Attempt I bought this a month ago, and it is a nice attempt at the Shade + Light contouring eye brush from KVD. The blending end is wonderfully soft, but not dense, so it will not hold product. The shorter end is painful, sharp, and far too dense for the product to pick up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hurt to use. The fluffier end is great for blending, but the tapered end is really sharp? The brush is described as being "soft", but the smaller end feels needle-like. Considering how sensitive the eye area is, I don't think it's safe to use on or around my eyes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pros and cons I really like the fluffier side of this brush to blend and build up colour in my crease. It's verry effective and feels nice and smooth. I was a little dissappointed with the pencil side. I've used it to apply shadow to the bottom lash line, but the brisles aren't as soft and smooth as I have come to expect from ELF. I have the Beautifully Precise Smudge brush and it's perfect for this function. This one was a disappointment. It's not so bad that it's unusable, but it is a bit scratchy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this brush! I bought this in store and I love it so much, I have monolid eyes so the pencil part of the brush is really good for putting color in my "crease" without getting it everywhere. I think the blending side is also really good and I used it with ABH Modern Renaissance. I don't have super sensitive eyes but the feels very soft on my lids. So far I'm already in love!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it I was recently in LA and had to go see an elf store in person. While I was there I grabbed this brush because I figured it would probably be great for he eyeshadow pallets that it's supposed to go with it. I was wrong. I just used it and wish I hadn't. Also, I paid $5 for this!!?!?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for applying/smudging creams I bought this brush to apply cream and liquid shadows more precisely to the lid since I normally use my fingers but have found it to be getting too messy. I could see from the pictures that both ends of the brush have very dense synthetic bristles, which looked perfect for those textures. I assumed the 'aqua beauty' label was also suggesting that this is the purpose of the brush, considering their aqua beauty line has a lot of cream and liquid eyeshadows. This worked great for what I bought it for. The round end stippled shadow beautifully and the more flat side was great for working creams on the lower lash line or getting closer to the upper lash line or even tightlining. I see the other commenters saying this was hard to blend with, and that's because the shape and density of the bristles makes it pretty much the opposite of a blending brush. I also probably wouldn't use this with powder shadows, except to pack on color, so I guess this is a pretty niche brush but it's cheap and did the job for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from i hate this brush This is not worth $5, the brush is soft but is very dense so when you're trying to blend it out it jus doesn't work. It also picks up products and it stays on the brush. The thinner side of the brush is the literally the hardest thing ever, it's rough and I would never put that near my eyes unless I wanna get scratches

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Kinda been disappointed at e.l.f."s new stuff... ...and the prices have been going up. I was very excited again when I was this on the new products page. So I ordered when I got an email saying that I could redeem points for the studio angled blush brush (omg that brush is so horrible they changed it I have the one from 3years ago, the new version is cheaply made and a dollar more). I thought it would be a soft brush like the real techniques or ecotools. Wrong. The brush on both ends it tough especially the pointed end. It scratches and irrates the delicate eye area. I give it two stars because I like the design of the brush and blue aqua beauty stamp on the brush is hot. But these brushes are so harsh on the eye. I though that it would be soft like the beautifully prescise brushes but no. Save your money on this one ladies unless you don't mind using brushes that feel like sand paper on the eyes. This is the third new product I tried that I was not happy with. :-(
