Rated 1 out of 5 by from The colors are beautiful so i was super excited about them..but they are very drying and cumbersome to apply. if you have dry skin/ lips I would recommend buying Elf's moisurinizing lipstick instead. The lipstick also had a weird white coating on them

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Quality I bought Nostalgic and Classy online and had it shipped to me. Nostalgic came to me in bad conditions; the lipstick was in pieces before I even opened up the package. When I did open it, my hands were covered in the lipstick. Classy was in normal condition. Both of the lipsticks felt like I was applying a crayon on my lips. They're really dry and cheaply made. The color for Classy is nice, but the color for Nostalgic is horrible. It made me look ill or like a ghost. I don't believe the saying "you get what you pay for" because I did pay money for this and got nothing from it. Overall, I suggest not wasting your money on this lipstick because you would just be buying a broken, dried up crayon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty ordinary There’s nothing very exceptional about this lipstick other than the price, but there’s nothing really bad about it either. To me it was just kind of “meh.” The formula is very creamy with a glossy finish, and will rub off on anything that comes near it. It definitely isn’t a one swipe full pigment lipstick, you have to do a few layers to get full pigmentation. For a dollar though, can’t really go wrong. I got the shade nostalgic, which is a nice tan nude and very pretty

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome! Just got this today and am really happy with it. The price is unbelievable and the product works well. Feels creamy and moisturizing and not too heavy. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is packaging is cheap, but who cares it's 1$!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I bought these in colors Posh and Nostalgic, and they were like two different kinds of lipsticks. I applied Nostalgic one day, it was pigmented and pretty but it was too light for my skin tone. The next day, I tried Posh, and I was shocked to find that it was an entirely different consistency. It was oily and thin, it was still kind of pigmented, but it was so oiled up and slick that it was hard to apply. Nostalgic also smelled like a crayon, which is a staple of cheaper lipsticks and not something I personally mind, while Posh has a nice subtle perfume scent. But again....if these are the same lipsticks, shouldn't they have the same consistency/texture/pigmentation/smell? I think Posh may have been an older or expired lipstick. This is an issue I've had with elf before, they change their packaging and products disappear for months only to return again, so it's totally possible that I got two different batches of lipstick. Regardless, I'd still recommend them because they're only a dollar, no big deal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed in color--Fearless Fearless is described as red, looks red in the pictures, and looks red in the tube, but it goes on pink. It works okay as a natural looking lip stain if you put it on and blot it, but a red lipstick that goes pink is definitely a disappointment. Some would say I have no right to be disappointed for a dollar, but e.l.f. has me spoiled and expecting good quality for low prices. The formula itself is comparable to a $2.50 lipstick from other brands, and the scent is a little strong and artificial. I would still try this in the other colors, and I find it comfortable and lasting enough, just not pigmented enough for a red.
