Versatile

I bought this to use for contouring with the putty bronzers, but found it not appropriate because the putty bronzer blends away too easily with a brush. Instead, I apply with a concealer brush and blend by dabbing with a mini makeup sponge. This brush, however, is soft yet firm and fairly dense. With light pressure the pointed tip of the brush is maintained; with heavier pressure the pointed tip sinks in and rest of the bristles come into contact with the skin. I can see this brush being very versatile, I just don’t have a use for it now as I use very minimal makeup.

Better for Other Things

I don't like using this for my foundation. I feel like it's too small. However, I love using it for concealer.

Happy to buy this brush! Love the shape and it is very dense, easy to get into the corner.

Not a fan. Bristles are stiff even after washing and doesn't do well with my foundation or concealer.

Per usual, I was not disappointed with an e.l.f. brush. Honestly I'd prefer to use my fingers, because it's just easier for me to work with.

The greatest thing about makeup brushes is that they can be used for whatever you want. For example, this one is marketed as a foundation brush but I’ve used it for both contour and highlighter (with two different brushes, for obvious reasons lmao). The bristles are soft, dense, and tapered, which makes it easy to get into the hollows of the cheeks for precision and on the tops of the cheekbones. I’ve never used this for foundation so I can’t attest to how it would perform in that situation but for highlighter and contour, it’s a winner!

I bought this brush just to bump up the price of my order however it has become my favourite brush by far!
