this sucks
this makes my makeup seperate for some reason, I used this primer with a matte full coverage concealer/foundation and it starts to seperate around my cheeks and nose. I have a set skincare routine aswell but i definitely prefer the poreless putty primer over this. also $14.49 at shoppers is crazy work 😂

Smooth, creamy texture. Nice coverage, and it seems to have a good finish even after drying. Im not a fan of how matte it makes my skin look. Love the packaging, though, and not much of a scent.

10/10 primer for matte finish on oily skin!
Feels like the power grip primer, may even be a bit lighter. LOVE the feeling of it after makeup and the finish is not oily or TOO sticky. packaging is better than other e.l.f. primers.

Great quality for the price
Packaging is minimal but efficient. Product comes out easily and it is smooth on the skin. It doesn’t have a smell to it and the finish is nice. It allowed the make up to blend nicely.

Amazing!!
Received a free sample and I’ve been obsessed with the power grip primer till I received this matte primer and it’s a game changer!! I love a beautiful matte finish and this is my go to now, it’s looks amazing on my skin and drys quick and leaves my makeup on for hours!! I have the mini for now but as soon as I run out I’m gonna buy the big size. Definitely recommend!!

I felt that this isnt a product suiyed for someone like me. I have dry skin so I do t love matte products all the time but I was looking forward to the gripping aspect of this product however I found that it was not gripoy at all. So just an okay product. It is matte and its affordable so thats nice.

Effective primer with some drawbacks
I was skeptical at first by how tacky and sticky it was and did not want to apply it all over my face. However, I ran out of my usual, so I used this in place and actually followed the directions. It worked quite nicely, holding my makeup in place. I will say once you put foundation on, you have to move quickly or it’ll dry patchy. Overall, it’s a pretty good primer. It’s a big tube, so it’s cost effective. Unfortunately, it has harsh ingredients, so I don’t think I’ll purchase it.
