I did a side by side comparison
I have extremely dry skin so, hydrating products are a must for me. This new primer on it's own looked pretty similar to the OG but it did feel a bit more hydrating. It locks your makeup in place and you can still see the hydration peaking through even after powder. This is very comparable to the OG in my opinion.

I'm not sure if I recommend this one - I prefer without the niacidamine. I think this ingredient breaks me out. The next day after trying this I broke out all over. This might be great for someone who is not sensitive to this ingredient.

Good product, This is a GREAT primer- and, let me specify, it is particularly great for certain circumstances. After having visited my dermatologist and having to get a few spots removed for biopsy, then days later having to attend an event, it works brilliantly to cover (and flatten) areas. It is MUCH thicker than your typical primer, and it works great whether it be flattening the area of scars, scabs, wrinkles, etc.

Fantastic primer
Received a mini size of this primer as one of my free gifts and I'm very impressed. As a mature woman with oily skin, large pores and the usual wrinkles I struggle finding products that actually make a difference - until I found this!! I love the slightly tacky feeling it gives, which helps my make up glide on and look flawless. My make up stays on throughout the day and into the evening with very little shine or need for blotting. A little of this product goes a long way which, in my opinion, makes it very good value for money - I will definitely be purchasing the full size of this primer - Love it!!!

Pros and cons
Im not a fan of the way gripping primers feel on my face but everyone was raving about this so I thought I would try it! It is hydrating and keeps my make up in place so well! Unfortunately though by the end of the day I am left looking like an oily mess, which surprises me as someone with mainly dry/combo skin. I tried the blue version too but unfortunately it didn't make a difference.

from my experience, it can be used with any primer. just make sure that your foundation and concealer are both silicone-based if you use the putty primer, or your makeup might pill and look patchy.
