Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was okay, I didnt really feel it "blurred" , and usuing it as a base was not my favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I bought this when my Milk Blur Stick was running out, because I've heard they're similar. And I like this one at least as much! Which is great because it's so much cheaper! I have oily skin and it helps to keep the oil at bay a little longer (I still have to blot my face during the day though, but I've never tried anything that keeps my oil away for the whole day). I like that it's silicone free too. For some reason silicone primers tend to make my face oily faster. Plus my makeup will break up with some of the silicone primers. I'm not sure why though, since the BB cream I use has silicone with it. (I've heard before that it's best to use silicone primers with foundations/bb creams that contain silicone, and vice versa, silicone free primers with silicone free foundations). Oh well! Silicone free primers usually work the best for me, so I'll keep using this. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great.. Except for my oily skin I loved the way it made my foundation look and how it felt on my skin but boy it made me so oily. i'm a naturally oily person anyway but woah.. It was probably my skin. but i prefer the putty primer. that stuff works like wonders!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent complexion product, multiple uses I'm a big ELF lover and I have high standards for face/complexion products. Originally,.I bought this because I went on a blurring product kick & was purchasing a ton of products that promised to blur & fill pores. Out of all the things I tried, only three items emerged as noticeably useful, this Prep & Blur stick being one of them (the other ELF item was the mattifying balm! Doing that review after this one lol). I used this on several no makeup days, and received several comments on how great I looked that day. People who dont know much about makeup simply told me I looked "refreshed" and that my skin looked particularly beautiful that day. I also used this under my foundation (I go between Laniege Hydra Radiance cushion foundation in shade 23, Sand and L'Oreal Infallible 24hr Fresh Wear in shade 445, Vanilla; I use both of these foundations for medium coverage and I am a normal skin type). Under foundation & used with moisturizer & primer, the blurring effect was still somehow visible even with foundation over it. The foundation seemed to last a bit longer as well. I dont know how well it would hold up under makeup in extreme humidity, as I tested it out on 60 something degree rainy days, but I wore my makeup for at least 9 hours and my foundation did not break up or seem to "melt" as a result of the prep and blur underneath. I really love this product. Its wonderful to have something this effective on my no makeup days; I've added it to my stable of ride or die moisturizers and primers that I use every single day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Evened out my skin tone! I bought this when I saw a more expensive brand and just happened to see ELF's equivalent. I love it! I use it all the time and am ready to buy my second blur stick! Will order soon as it is hard to find in the store. Made me feel a bit more put together than a bare face or too much makeup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy grail The e.l.f prep & blur stick is absolutely amazing! It’s nothing like I’ve ever tried before. it smooths, blurs and keeps my makeup intact all day. I have dry to normal skin and this product makes my face glowy but without looking greasy. I also love the texture! I used Smashbox primer for years and I thought I was in love but oh I was so wrong. NOW I’m in love and never looking back. This stick is seriously amazing!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! Bought this yesterday. Blown away! I am 65 years old. I kept seeing ads for Boom Sticks and I was intrigued. I went online to purchase and was stunned at the prices/shipping of their products. So I started searching for something similar. And I found e.l.f. Wow. It goes on silky smooth, is absorbed immediately and looks awesome. My skin is dry. I dislike foundation, settles in my wrinkles and looks terrible. I know that other seniors will love this! I also purchased the Hydrating Face Primer as well as 2 colour sticks; peach and berry which I love! Keep up the good work! I live in Vernon, BC, Canada. Both Walmart and London Drugs carry your products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this a couple weeks ago at Ulta thinking it would help cover my adult acne to where I wouldn’t have to use so much concealer after using my primer. I don’t get the point of this I applied it like it says and my face felt more greasy after putting it on and it just didn’t do what it was advertised to do definitely doesn’t blur anything for me. I think it made it more difficult to apply my foundation smoothly and made me face more cakey.

Anyone know how this compares to the Milk makeup product that is similar?

Asked by: Amanda38
I swatched both on my hand and the milk blur stick was hands-down way more effective at blurring. The difference was extremely obvious. Texture wise, both were pretty much the same - that weird almost slippery feeling (but not in a bad way). The scents weren’t remarkable in either one. The elf one has witch hazel and the milk one has jasmine oil (I thought it would smell pretty but maybe my nose is messed up because I didn’t smell anything really). But if you’re looking for something that will blur your face to Instagram worthy perfection, maybe try the mini milk size out and see if the full-size price is worth it.

Will this product blur wrinkles as well or is it meant more for oily skin and to fill and blur pores only?

Asked by: Susielaw99
This also works to blur fine lines and any small imperfections on your skin.
