Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I’m new to using eye makeup and primers. I couldn’t figure out how to get my eyeshadow to not crease or to last all day. Let me tell you, THIS PRODUCT IS HOW!!! I was so glad I decided to give this a try. It goes on great, dries fast and definitely keeps my eyes looking great all day. I have only tried the sheer shade, might try another one day but for now I’ll stick with sheer! Also, I actually bought my first tube for a $1.00, however when I started purchasing my products directly from E.L.F. it was $2. Which is fine, not a big deal, still worth the money and plus I get beauty points!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great primer! I love this primer! It really helps prevent my eyeshadow from creasing. I just do a quick swipe with the applicator in the center of my eyelid then blend it out with a brush all over the lid and into the crease. It dries pretty quickly from there, allowing me to go right in with my eyeshadow! I use shade “Sheer,” which even looks great on its own!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST EYELID PRIMER EVER! I bought this a few months ago and I was SO excited to try it out and after a 2 hour wear, THIS EYELID PRIMER CREASED! it made my eyelids very oily. I might as well have not wore it! Even though it's $2.00 don't waste your money on it.. you're better off buying a lip gloss instead!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eh, not good, but not that bad either. It came out patchy and streaky, and made eye shadows look off in coloring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really works My eyeshadows ALWAYS crease on mgeand fade because I have hooded eyes and they get a little oily through the day. But this eye primer keeps my shadows in place and keeps my shadows as pigmented through the day as they were when I first put them on. Its truly a gotta have in my makeup bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good stuff! I got this with the Smoky Summer eye set, or I wouldn't have actually bought it. I'm really glad I did! For $2, this is definitely a bargain, and a surprising value. I have heavily hooded eyes, and oily skin. In addition, I live in Haiti without AC, and so I sweat much more than any lady should. But by the end of the day, I have ZERO creasing with this primer. I've used it with e.l.f shadows, Avon, and even cheap dollar store shadows. It's the same effect every time. Mats, shimmers . . . all are good. It's not really tinted once it gets patted onto the lid. I set it with a loose powder and then brush a neutral base color onto the lid, and I'm ready to create magic! I'm not very knowledgeable about eye primers, but being the second one I've ever owned, I'd say this is likely going to be a repurchase for me.

Is this primer goes on matte or shimmery? I read some reviews that says glittery, so I want to ask people who has used it before: does it look glittery after it is dried?

Asked by: cathy45
The pearl Is a subtle glittery and I LOVE IT!!!  I’m using it now in place of my white eyeshadow!!

what is the purpose of the difference in the colors?

I'm assuming the different shades are meant for different skin tones. Sheer, tan, and cocoa are probably for light, medium, and darker skin tones and meant to be used as a primer base that would match the skin, probably good for lighter more natural eyeshadows and the pearl which is white would help to make other more unnatural colors pop but pearl could also be used for all colors of course. But some people may want to use a primer that matches their skin

Do any of the shads tint your eyelid?

Asked by: helen366
I've only used the sheer one and it won't interfere with any shadow if you give it some seconds to dry

I don't know whether i should get sheer or pearl, which one works best for pale skin?

Asked by: Freya G
I've only tried the sheer in this product. Personal I think it still had some creaseing to it. I'm also very pale but could almost use it for eye concelor. My thing is it still had a crease. Also I think all the eyeshadow faded just as fast as before almost .but I've only tried sheer .i love elf products and services and use lots of them I believe in a true review.

Does this primer hide creepiness in eyes over 60?

Asked by: Beeb
Truthful no I have used the sheer which is a light color I'm very pale and light in color and could almost use it as an eye concealer. I don't know about other colors but have read in reviews that all but sheer have some irrderference in them also I really like most of the elf products Ive tried but this also left some crease for me. After a while.
