Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 395.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I use the shade 'sheer' on my light skin and find that it blends well into my foundation. I fell that my eyeshadow and eyeliner grip onto my skin better when I use this primer! Be sparing, though, as you'll be going through a lot of this otherwise!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works for me I bought this primer a few months ago and this primer works for me , maybe is not the super best primer but for the price is a good product

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not really a primer!!! This is one of the worst eye primer that I ever bought!!! It doesn't prevents your eye shadow from creasing on your eyelids. I know this is one of the cheapest on the market, but the quality is incredibly poor!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A No From Me I have sensitive skin and when I put this on it burns a little bit. It also didn't like the way my eye shadow blended over it. I tried blending the shawdow with and without all over the lid neutral shadow and neither really helped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great This primer really does make eye shadow stay! I have worn it for 10+ hours in a day and my eye show pigment is just as bold as when first applied. My only suggestion is that lighter eye shadows will appear a bit darker since the primer is not clear/white. This does not bother me enough to reduce in stars though. Next time I will get the white version, I do wonder why the price appears to be increasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Great value, it makes my eyeshadow look even prettier as it is and it stays for hours on my eyes. Highly recommended. PS I bought the white one.

Does this primer hide creepiness in eyes over 60?

Asked by: Beeb
I'm 63 yrs. old & have been using this product in sheer for years. I find that it helps hide crepey skin on lids by evening out the skin tone. Sheer is a flat, matte light beige. It hides discolorations & makes the eye shadow color pop.

Do any of the shads tint your eyelid?

Asked by: helen366
The sheer is a matte, light beige. I find that it lightens & brightens the eyelids by evening out any discoloration. It does not change the color of your eye shadow.

Is this primer goes on matte or shimmery? I read some reviews that says glittery, so I want to ask people who has used it before: does it look glittery after it is dried?

Asked by: cathy45
The sheer is matte -- no shimmer at all.

what is the purpose of the difference in the colors?

Asked by: YAMAKEUPGURL
I'm assuming the different shades are meant for different skin tones. Sheer, tan, and cocoa are probably for light, medium, and darker skin tones and meant to be used as a primer base that would match the skin, probably good for lighter more natural eyeshadows and the pearl which is white would help to make other more unnatural colors pop but pearl could also be used for all colors of course. But some people may want to use a primer that matches their skin
