Amazing Primer!

I got this a month ago and the only color left was silver, but after seeing a review I thought I'll give it a try. I was NOT disappointed!. I was worried it might beed through gold colors, but it didn't. There is a slight shimmer when applied, but it holds the eye shadow all day! It's lightweight, easy to apply, and does the job! Whatever shade you get, this is a great base primer.

In my experience Elf products dry out quickly. I've only used this once. Just bought less than 2 weeks ago. It went on smoothly and looks great alone! I put eyeshadow on top and it made my eyes "pop"! It also lasted all day which is rare for most products! If this doesn't dry out too quickly I will definitely buy more!!!

Dupe for Glossier Lidstar!!!

I haven’t seen anyone talk about these but by themselves without shadow over the top they are pretty much an exact dupe for Glossier Lidstar! And for half the price. amazing!

Hmmm

So I purchased the Twinkling Taupe and as soon as I got it I started playing around with it. At first I wasn't so crazy about it, it looked beautiful on its own but when I put some eye shadow over it, it looked blotchy and creasey. I was pretty sure it was user-error so I tried it the next day for work with some beautiful brown, neutral tone shades and I thought it made my eye shadow look stunning! The eye shadows I used have a very subtle shimmer but this made it super shimmery and really brightened my eyes! Best part was my eye shadow didn't crease up and stayed beautiful and bright all day!!

Pleased I Purchased!

My daily go-to eye shadow is the Aqua Beauty Molten Liquid in Rose Gold but this one sounded worth trying. I ordered the color "Twinkling Taupe" and wore it yesterday and I am in love. I wore it alone (as the product description said you could do) and layered it in the center for more color pop and it did not budge all day. It gave me the exact look I was going for, a soft, frosty wash of color, dewy and natural. I have not tried it to transform regular eye shadow, I doubt I will as I love the look I achieved wearing it alone and really only wear the above-mentioned Molten Liquid shadows which are already shimmery on their own. This particular color is just gorgeous, a mauve/lilac/taupe with a soft glitter effect. Mostly I noticed a frosty shimmer that was soft and subtle. If you like soft shimmery shades, give this color a try!

Not recommended!

I tried this product out for just a couple days and have experienced an allergic reaction to it. I have NEVER ever had an allergic reaction to makeup before and I have tried a ton of new products from all sorts of brands. I use a lot of ELF makeup as well and never had reactions... this product has made my eyelids swollen and red and itchy. I am on day 3 of swollen eyes and not wearing makeup to help relieve the reaction. I am not sure what ingredient in this product would cause such a reaction but I would not recommend to anyone who has any sensitivity.... or anyone at all. I never write reviews and I do love a lot of elf products but this one really did not agree with me.
