Smooth but smudges and runs easily

I received this eyeliner through the product testing site, bzzagent. I've applied the eyeliner at least every other day for about 3 or so weeks. It is very easy to apply because it goes on smooth. Doesn't rip your eyelid like some pencil liners. Although it is easy to apply, it is also extremely easy to smear and smudge and it does not stay in very long, especially in humid weather and it gives you raccoon eyes almost immediately.

I got this in the mail and was pleasantly surprised how easily it glides on my face. It’s so pigmented and soft, so don’t go too hard on it! Smudging it is very nice too and it gives it a very nice and edgy look. :) highly recommend

Great Eyeliner!

I love all of the makeup I buy from E. L. F, but I especially love this eyeliner! It goes of smoothly, no hard rubbing and stays on all day. That is much appreciated where I live, as it's humid and hot.

i was hoping this eyeliner would stay put but it actually smears easily! it's probably better for those who want to create a smokey look with a smudge brush.

Incredible Wear, Goes on Smooth

I wasn’t expecting much, but this e.l.f. smoky kohl surprised me. It goes on super smooth, no dragging, and the black is actually really bold and thick—not weak or patchy like cheap liners can be. It wears pretty well too, stays put for the most part. For the price, it’s honestly solid

LOVE LOVE LOVE

I received this eyeliner for free for my honest opinion. This eyeliner glides on so easy no need to apply pressure while using. It's long lasting I never had to reapply. Doesn't bother my eyes like others I've tried I love this eyeliner I will be purchasing a few more in different colors. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Works Great!

I usually use gel eyeliners and the smoky Kohl eyeliner was a pencil liner. It was easy to apply, but not very consistent. When I put the liner on my waterline it wasn't very prominent, with gel liners this usually isn't a problem, so I don't think that's the purpose of this liner. It does come off easily, which I liked, but be weary because it also comes off easily if you tear up. However, if I wanted to do a smoky look or a double winged eyeliner look this pencil would definitely be my choice. I recommend this product to those who want to do intricate designs, but since that's not really my style I wouldn't buy it again unless it was for cosplay/costume makeup. ELF kindly gave me this Smoky Kohl Eyeliner - Black Velvet for free so that I could review it.

Great color for blue eyes (French Roast)

I purchased this in French Roast and it’s great for my fair skin and blue eyes. It’s not a harsh eyeliner and can be smoked out easily. Decent staying power, especially for just $3! What a steal!
