Takes more than I thought
If you just smooth this all over the face, it has a nice satiny finish, but doesn’t cover redness totally. Patting the product into the areas you need it most with fingers or a sponge works much better. I also still had to use more than I anticipated. In the end, it does work but requires more effort & more product than I’d thought it would. Foundation blends over the top very nicely.

Could be better
I generally like this primer, but expected it to be easier to blend into the skin. Sometimes, when applying it with too much force or for too long, it flakes off. It also feels more like it’s lying on top of my skin and not actually benefitting it like other e.l.f. primers.

It's okay
I bought this as a lower cost alternative to a high-end brand. I have been super impressed with most e.l.f. products so I was excited to try it. My overall opinion of this primer is "it's okay". It does a good job smoothing skin but could be a bit better at reducing redness.
