Kind of Pigmented, but good overall !
This Product is amazing ! I use this after PE to mattify my face and it does a good job. its a bit pigmented but when you blend it out its translucent ! DO NOT THROW AWAY THE SPONGE AND USE A BRUSH. Theres a reason it comes with it. your supposed to dab it onto your face because its supposed to absorb oil. if you just dust it on top it will look really cakey/flakey.

Doesn't Work on a Variety of Skintones As Stated
You have to be extremely fair or tan for this. As a black female (darker than Rihanna), the powder leaves such a visible cast on my face. I have to really rub to try to blend it out, which messes up the rest of my makeup and doesn't really work. My face ends up looking dry and ashy. I even bought the tinted one because it looked darker, but nope!

Not translucent
I bought this recently. I really loved the formula, gives a matte and silky finish, even blurs my pores if I apply it without foundation. However, it doesn’t last, my skin becomes oily really quickly and because I am fair/light skin tone with yellow undertones this powder gives me a pinkish colour and creates contrast with my neck. I can’t complain much for the price but elf only 2 stars because you stated it’s translucent when ITS NOT and that’s why I purchased it.

The best powder. Period.
This is honestly. HONESTLY. The best powder I have ever tried. I have oily skin and absolutely nothing compares- not even high end products. Please bring this back or else I won’t know what to do with myself. This may sound cliche, but I never write reviews. This is serious lol please BRING IT BACK. I cannot imagine my makeup routine without it.

Works well for controlling shine
I think this product works well for controlling shine, or just achieving a more matte look over your foundation. I would say coverage is very light so it doesn't replace foundation. It is very light so it can be used in the areas you want to highlight.

BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!
Used to LOVE this powder. it was perfect. They changed their packaging last year and even though they swear the formula is exactly the same... it is soooo clearly not. the new one has more sparkle to it and leaves like a white residue on your face. so do notttt use unless you are very fair skinned. otherwise, you look like a ghost. And the "new packaged" formula cannot be used for touch up because it just gets really cakey. The old one was PERFECT for touch up. ughhh I wish they would just change back!!

Hey, I am pretty dark skin and it works great for me. I only need a little bit and it does the job. I also don't let it sit on my face for too long because I think that would cause it to look more pale. Just bought another one.

This product does have simmer in it but I wouldn't suggest it as a highlighter because it does have a little color to it. The e.l.f. Shimmering Facial Whip acts as a wonderful highlighter in my opinion.

I use my concealer first- under the eyes and around my mouth where I have dark lines. Then I use this powder all over and I look flawless all day!

Would the translucent powder look ghosty/ashy on medium-dark skin? There used to be a "tinted" option but it doesn't look that is being offered any more. I miss that!

I'm pretty fair and I use this powder and it looks fine on me but maybe on darker skin lady's it might leave a white cast :)

The Corrective Yellow is meant to cancel out any blue/purple undertones in your skin. Which makes it perfect for setting under eye concealer.
