I am a licensed Cosmetologist, and this is a must for your basic tools. I use it for the blush and bronzer.

Not Much Bigger than the "Small Stipple Brush"
I have the elf "Small Stipple Brush" and decided to order the Beautifully Bare stipple brush expecting it to actually be bigger. The Beautifully Bare stipple brush is a lot shorter than the small stipple brush, just with a wider handle. The only major difference between the two is the Beautifully Bare stipple brush is a little more dense than the small one. While it was better at applying foundation than the small stipple brush, I feel like it was a waste to order it since they are so similar.

Great tool
I love the shorter handle on this stipple brush. It gives me great control when applying makeup.

Worst brush I’ve ever used
I picked this up from the dollar tree & thought it was going to be pretty good since it’s a name brand. But when using it, the bristles are so rough & scratchy on the face. Also, it does NOT disperse the product very well. Once applied to the face, the texture from the brush leaves this awful looking cast/appearance. The bristles irritated my skin so bad it left me itchy & this redness all over my face.

Gets the job done
I've had this for a little over a month now and I love it. The only negative thing I could say is that sometimes it sheds, but honestly, it's not a lot and not often. Other than that, it's great for everyday use.

Good, soft, brush...
Got this beauty on sale. I use it to apply my elf concealer palette, and blend the flawless foundation. Works well. Bristles stay put.

I would not recommend this brush. I have gotten so many elf brushes and this would have to be my least favorite. It sheds a lot. It did blend my make-up smoothly though I would just have rather spent my money on another great brush from elf.

Can someone please tell me what Stippling Motion is, how you do it for Full Coverage of liquid foundation with this brush?
Madigan

i use mine everyday for full converge with liquid foundation. what i do, is put my foundation on the back of my hand, then take a makeup sponge, beauty blender or even just your finger and apply foundation in these places: -a triangle that covers your whole cheek (on both cheeks, with one dot in the middle) - one line down my nose -one line above your lip -one line on your chin -and a few dots all over your forehead. then take the brush and dab the foundation into your skin, blending it and covering all parts of the face. you will know you are done when your face is completely covered evenly. This is my routine for my face, but make sure you play with where you place the foundation so it will work for your skin. hope this was helpful!

Is this brush mainly used for applying foundation?

You can use it for foundation, blush, and highlighter. That's what I mainly use stipple brushes for. ELF does have a smaller stipple brush which I think would be better for highlight to precisely put product on the cheekbones.

Stipple brushes are used to apply various products, depending on the size of the brush, at various coverage levels. This one seems to be designed specifically for use with the Beautifully Bare foundation serum and blushes, so it will cover larger areas of the face with things like foundation or blush, and maybe contour or highligher. Use a stippling motion for fuller coverage and a sweeping motion for sheerer coverage. I have the original stipple brush, and I use it to get sheer color payoff from my highly pigmented blushes.
