O.M.G. YES YES YES!!

Ok, so I am a bit of a mascara snob. I have been loyal to CG Lashblast Fusion for about 3 years now. In the past couple months, I have been trying to find another mascara I like and nothing has compared to my CG Lashblast, until now. I tried several mascaras from other companies, including two other mascaras from ELF. They all had problems, sadly, including the ones from ELF (the studio lengthening and volumizing and the essential lengthening and defining). In fairness, I didnt choose the other ELF ones, the studio came in a mystery bag offer and the essential one came in the 24k set with the eyelash curlers. Anyhow, being the third one I was going to try, this was going to be my last mascara purchase from ELF if I did not like it. Well this one will be repurchased when I run out. I dont think it is going to make me switch totally from my Lashblast, but I am pleased to have another option. The things that make this an excellent mascara is the brush and the texture. The brush on this mascara really coats every last without clumping. It is easy to apply, and applies evenly. That was part of the problem with the other ELF mascaras is the brush was just not full enough to get my lashes how I wanted them to look. And the texture on this!! Awesome! It is thicker and no where near as wet as the other two ELF mascaras I have tried. It goes on so well, I think I could get away with one coat of it for everyday running around. Plus, the mascara does not dry hard. My lashes still feel soft after the mascara has dried, which is one of the things I love best about my Lashblast. They dont feel like they are going to break off. Another thing that is very similar to Lashblast for me is the ability for me to apply and go. The brush separates enough that I dont have to monkey around with a lash comb after application. For me that time saving aspect is priceless!! Now, there are a couple things I dont like about this mascara, but they are so minor and mostly personal, it doesnt deserve any star deduction in this review. The first being this is just a teensy tiny bit clumpier than my LB, but not enough to deter me from using this mascara. The second being it has kind of a floral scent to it? I dont notice any kind of scent in my LB, and I dont understand why a mascara needs to be scented anyway, I mean I dont smell with my eyes. The scent with this mascara is not overly strong, and does disappear, but when you open the tube it was enough to notice. With how flexible the formula stays I didnt experience any flaking or smudging. I really am VERY impressed with this mascara. This is the first mascara to really give my Cover Girl Lashblast Fusion a run for its money, because I am considering a switch just because it would be a huge savings for me because I really go through my mascara, and do change them out every six to eight months just for sanitary reasons. With the LB running at about nine dollars a tube, I could purchase four of these and still be saving. I am so impressed with this mascara. I WILL be doing a YouTube video of this for sure. terribly disappointed

I bought this item online a month or so ago and was extremely excited to finally receive it. I liked the packaging a lot, but I was sad to find that the mascara was ALREADY DRY when I opened it and had absolutely no effect on my lashes. Good thing it was only a dollar. this is one of the worst ELF products.
