Baked Eyeshadow Palette is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 126.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from No pigment at all! I got this as a free gift with purchase, and I am grateful I did not spend any money! I tried every color, with my finger, a brush, and with setting spray and literally could not get any pigment to show up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, not great. I bought it, and love the amount of pigment it has in it. However it is a little difficult to apply.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice color Very easy to apply, nice color and long lasting. Good for dry skin

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very pretty, but difficult to use This was one of the first ELF products I decided to buy myself. Unfortunately the shadows show very little pigment when I attempted to use them, even just to swatch. I'm very disappointed. If there's a trick, it should be included in the directions

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope! The quality is poor, the shimmer doesn't show up, at all, it doesn't pick up on the brushes. I'm disappointed in the overall performance of this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's great, but here's a story It's alright. No it's not your ultimate "fangirl over" eyeshadow palette but, it works okay. Let me tell you, i've never used baked eyeshadow until a few weeks ago. So, I use it right, never looking up the difference between baked and regular eyeshadow and i'm sitting at my vanity wondering why it's not going on my eyelid well or well pigmented. I did the unjustifiable to my poor makeup brush. I flipped the bad boy over and start beating the baked eyeshadow with the end of my makeup brush. Little did I know, you're supposed to wet it. So ladies, make sure to look it up before you became the Godzilla to your makeup palette.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I really like the colors offered in this pallet. However, I have tried mini sponges and brushes and have the most difficult time getting the color to transfer onto my eye lid. When I use the elf eye primer it does a little better. I do still need to try using a wet brush and I will also try my finger and update. Overall I am disappointed at how difficult it is to apply.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why so many bad reviews? So even after reading the 1 and 2 star reviews I decided to go ahead with this palette anyway. At first I thought all the reviews were right, but I have figured out how to get this palette to work! 1. scrape the top layer off with your nail. Its baked so once this hard layer is gone it will be eaasier to work with. 2. DON'T use it dry; wet it..like a lot. The colours are very nice and dark when you wet them. It can get a bit messy, but spray the palette when you use it and use your figure to soften them. 3. I use either a small applicator or my finger, and have found these work better than brushes, as you need a lot of product. I haven't had issues with fall out and it lasts a 10 hour work day at least.

I have tried to apply some of these shades to my lid and it doesn't really seem to appear pigmented. Why is this the case? Do I need to do anything special?

Asked by: mackie3232
It is because some brushes work well on baked eyeshadows and some do not. I discovered that the Brand called "Crown Brushes" work well for me. Also baked eyeshadows work well when you wet your brush. You just have to play around with diff types of brushes using water to wet the brushes or setting spray, i use both depending on how i want my eyeshadow to look and how long. I really love baked eyeshadows. They last a long time & i can adjust the intensity of how i want to look.

I truly love these baked eyeshadows. I can have some shimmer in a professional setting and still look professional. I use this in the Toast daily. But I would like to know, are your products, or any of the ingredients, tested on animals?

Asked by: Jinxie
Please note that none of our products are tested on animals.

People have said to wet the brush to get more pigment out of the baked eye shadows but, at the risk of sounding stupid, what are you supposed to wet your brush with? Water? I don't know what I'm doing

Asked by: ihaveosgd
wet a q-tip with water and rub it on the shadow round then apply
