Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I have been putting this on every morning and night for about a month now and it works great. It makes my face feel fresh and awake, I chose this product to keep my skin protected throughout my work day. A little bit goes a long way!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Obsessed! I bought this a couple weeks ago in store along with the magnetic mask, and y'all I'm in LOVE! I use this every morning after washing my face, it makes my skin so soft and smooth without adding and extra oil or leaving a film plus, it smells amazing without being overwhelmingly strong. Also I feel like it makes my make up sit better on my skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Obsessed I bought this serum few weeks ago. I use it only in the morning after washing my face. I use a different serum at night. I like the feel not heavy or oily. I like that it has vitamin C & antioxidant's those 2 ingredients is why i bought it. My skin is looking more healthier

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Skin irritation I decided to buy my first serum ever and I was excited to try this out. At first, it made my skin soft after 2 days then all of a sudden I broke out with rashes near my eyebrows and on my cheek. Feel like I wasted $15...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent for my first Vitamin C serum I bought this 2 weeks ago, in an attempt to step up my facial skin care routine. For the price (comparing to other serums that are similar) I'm pleased that this product doesn't add any oiliness to my combination skin and I have noticed that my skin is improving little by little. The presentation is nice, I love the glass bottle with the iridescent sheen and the product itself is lightweight. When it dries, it doesn't leave a film on skin - which is really important since my t-zone is extremely oily. I will continue to use and keep it in my new routine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this product! This is my second bottle and I couldn't be happier with the results. It's lite weight, not oily, soaks into my skin and my skin looks great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke me out! I bought this and the moisturizer, both seemed a little pricey for elf but I thought it was worth it since I LOVE the Mario Badescu Vitamin C serum but it’s three times the price. I broke out from this and the defense moisturizer. So sad I spent thirty dollars on something I had to throw away.

I know water isnt very good with vitamin c... but will that affect anything if my moisturizer and toner are all water based?

Asked by: The808
Vitamin C is water soluble. There is no problem with water based products.

Is the best used before or after moisturizer?  I’m unsure of which part of my skin care regimen would be best to use this in

Asked by: Mesha
It would go: cleansing & toning, face serum and then sunscreen (in the morning)/moisturizer. Most serums say to use twice daily, but just see how your skin reacts! Like if it makes you more oily, put it on before bed (followed by a moisturizer). I have combo/dry skin so I like using it both AM & PM.

How are they keeping the ascorbic acid stable in this format? Ascorbic acid oxidized very rapidly.  While it's the best of the Vit c's, if it oxidizes it becomes the opposite of an antioxidant and creates free radicals on your skin causing wrinkles

Asked by: SammLiane
Agreed, Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is much more stable than l-ascorbic acid. You will be able to tell when the product goes bad, as it will start to turn yellow.

How well would this work for under the eyes? Looking for vitamin C serum for under the eyes & love ELF!

Asked by: CurlyT
We do not recommend application directly under the eye area due to the potency of vitamin c.

Does this help fade dark spots/Sun spots on the facs from sun damage?

Asked by: Chriss32
No, I don't think it is concentrated enough for that. It might help a little, but it is not really a skincare product, more a moisturizer with extras.

Is this okay for oily/combination skin?

Asked by: Shay_C
Yes, if you have time to let it sink in a little. You won't need another moisturizer on top (you do still need sunscreen).

Ok basically has anyone used this product before and seen a major difference for good or for the bad? Im kindof new to makeup and I dont really know what good prices are for stuff like this either. Is the price fair? Is it a good quality?

Asked by: agipson
This is really more a moisturizer that will also make you look glowy and boost your sunscreen a little. I don't think you should confuse it with a skincare product with vitamin C, it will not have a lasting impact or really change your skin.
