Additional Information

Poreless Face Primer- Small is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 667.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It definitely blurs, but doesn't fully fill pores completely. The texture is quite slippery and silicone-y. Overall nice, but will definitely try a different variety of elf primer next time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for me This product broke out my face. I have very sensitive skin so it doesn’t surprise me that it happened but it still sucks. It goes on nicely and feels nice. I didn’t find it made my makeup go on any better or stay on longer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had a bad reaction to this I bought this several times over the span of a year because it was affordable and the texture was nice, a little silkier than the heavier, more expensive silicone primers for large pores and spread really well across my face! Eventually I realized that my eyes kept watering during the day, resulting in me having to remove my eye makeup and start again- annoying. First I thought it was my black eyeliner, then my eye shadows, then my mascara- until I realized that I wasn't getting teary eyes if I wasn't using this primer! Presumably this is because of the Tea Tree oil, Sadly had to discontinue use. The packaging is a little deceiving, would prefer it to be in something that would more accurately show how much product you're getting (despite the label TELLING you how much is truly in the bottle. Maybe a squeeze tube with a pump or simply a smaller bottle? Not a total loss since I had other pore-filling primers (and have since stopped using primer completely since my moisturizer does the trick), but be careful about using this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Deceptive and Ineffective Very disappointed by the deceptive packaging. There is maybe a quarter of what the bottle appears to hold. The product itself was ineffective in reducing pores or holding even a lightweight BB cream, not to mention anything heavier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product This product does an awesome job, smells good and a little (1 pump) goes a long way. Love this product. Only reason. This got 4/5stars is because the packaging is so deceiving. You think the whole container is full of product but no, not even half. I wouldn't mind having to buy a new one every month but this product last 3 weeks, if you're lucky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great when paired with sheer foundation This product is a pore minimizer, not a pore filler. It glides onto the surface of the skin and stops foundation from sinking into pores. This primer pairs extremely well with light or sheer coverage foundation, or BB cream. It gives the skin a pretty, natural finish. I do need to use a setting spray to keep makeup in place as this is a rather "slippery" primer. (If you prefer high coverage foundation, this primer will not be a good match). ***Please be aware that this product contains tea tree oil and definitely smells like it! Tea tree oil is great for minimizing pores, so don't think of the smell as an 'added fragrance', but as a beneficial skincare ingredient.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not my favorite of their primers Of their primers that I've tried, it's probably my least favorite. It looks great when it first goes on, but does nothing to keep my makeup in place. I did see a lot of reviews about the smell, but it's not that serious. It smells like tea tree, which is listed in the ingredients, so it shouldn't come as a shock. It's not a terrible product, I just don't feel like it's the best they offer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great...Bad smell I've bought this because I have fairly large pores and If i'm being honest, I can't tell that it fills them in at all. I do continue to use this product though because it works really great to hold makeup on. The smell resembles a strong medicine. It's hard to smell after you finish applying it, but at first it is pretty bad. It also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I would buy this again but I REALLY wish they would add some type of fragrance to obtain the strong smell.

I have combination skin, which mostly gets oily during the day, which primer do you recommend?

Asked by: laurenhodgee
I have oily skin and I use poreless as my primer and then I set my foundation with setting powder and my makeup doesn't budge all day! If I want to look a little more luminous then I use the mineral primer.

I like this primer and it minimizes my pores well and i like the coverage afterwards, but it only lasts a few hours and my foundation is sliding off. What can i do to still use this but my face not be so oily?

Set your foundation with Powder.. Make sure you are not moving your makeup around your face, push the powder in don't swipe. And lastly setting spray

I know the smell you're talking about, although I don't think it's gasoline... more like straight up WD-40. Low grade tea tree oil smells like burned rubber and that's exactly what it smells like. I had the same thought when I first put it on, I'm scared to use it. I don't want to put something that smells like that on my face earthier. I threw mine away after the first use. I broke out afterwards also.
