It's so fluffy!
I agree with the top review that the bristles are fluffy and soft, but so much so that I would only suggest this brush for HIGH PIGMENT highlighters. The bristles do not pick up enough product for dusty or light highlighters.

Great for bold blushes
I bought this based on the reviews that said it was good for applying blush. I’ve been experimenting with bold pink and purple blushes on my light skin but hadn’t been able to find a brush that applies it lightly enough. This brush is absolutely perfect. It allows me to layer the bolder colors so that I don’t end up looking splotchy. I think it is too big to apply highlighter precisely. Although if you prefer a more subtle blended highlight, it could work well.

Best Highlight and even blush brush!
This blends my highlight beautifully. If I don’t want nothing too intense on my cheeks this is the perfect brush for me. And it also works great with blush to get a light wash of color on the cheeks. overall best brush!

Not ideal for highlighting but great for blush
I think the name's misleading, this isn't the best brush for PRECISION highlighting, but good if you like a light dusting for highlighting. BUT..this is my favorite brush for applying brush. The bristles aren't so dense and I love using this brush for applying my more pigmented blushes. The actual quality of the brush is great, and I intend of buying another brush for blush, but not for highlighting.
If ELF changed the name of the brush, it would definitely get much better reviews!

Not good
I took advantage of a sale, so I was able to purchase this online for 1/2 the price. I own the smudge brush & stipple brush in the same collection, but this one was disappointing. Didn't pick up any product, the brush is too long and flimsy. Looks beautiful, easy to clean, but will not recommend.

NOT good for highlighting
this brush is SO soft and flimsy its actually a bad thing. picks up hardly any product and puts it on so sheer. always have to put a million layers to get any pigment. i dont even bother trying to use it for highlight anymore, the glow will NOT come through. I love a good cute pinky blush moment and it takes a thousand years for me to get some color on my face with this brush. kinda disappointed because elf brushes are usually so amazing. this is the only brush ive tried from this line with the clear handles so hopefully the rest are better and actually work.

How is this different from the black highlighter brush?
I have both brushes, the black brush is more dense, the bristles are a shorter, and it has a more rounded tip. if you want a highlighting brush I would get the black one. However, if you want a brush to lightly set smaller areas I would go for this one.

when will this be available in drugstores? e.g. target, cvs
No only in elf stores or online

Are the bristles flimsy or pretty sturdy but flexible to apply the highlighter decently?
They are very flimsy, the highlighter gets everywhere on your face.
