Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but still looking I used two entire tubes of this primer. I love the doe-foot applicator. I thought it held up the shadows well but I also did not like the way it dried down. I thought it became difficult to work with after it dried and didn't blend well with my other liquid products. I am still looking for a good primer, maybe the pearl primer would work better since it appears to be clear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Time User I've been using this product for almost five years now and have never even thought about using something different. No matter what brand of eyeshadow I use, from the cheapest dollar store products to the highest end, I can count on this product to not only keep my shadow from creasing on my oily eyelids but to stay pigmented and locked in place through 8 hours of sweaty work and even play afterward. It's a must have in my makeup collection and one of the most important steps of my daily routine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Get what you paid for.... ones i get from Walmart are still cheap but works a lot better. Usually love e.l.f products but this one is a miss for me...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Testing this out I am testing this product in Sheer as a lip primer. Why not?! Stay tuned for the results!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It Sparkles I ordered this product in the shade "Pearl," and what the pictures didn't show was the glitter and sparkles in the product. I thought I was receiving a white, matte primer product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Shades I will never buy another primer, this is perfect for my eyes and the looks I create. Kudos to you elf for the new shades!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great value! I purchased this in early December, and I have used it just about every day. My eye shadow lasts crease-free for 16 hours. I have oily lids. My shadow has never lasted this long before! I have the pearl. I apply it to my eyelid and blend with my finger.

Do any of the shads tint your eyelid?

Asked by: helen366
I've only used the sheer one and it won't interfere with any shadow if you give it some seconds to dry

I don't know whether i should get sheer or pearl, which one works best for pale skin?

Asked by: Freya G
I've only tried the sheer in this product. Personal I think it still had some creaseing to it. I'm also very pale but could almost use it for eye concelor. My thing is it still had a crease. Also I think all the eyeshadow faded just as fast as before almost .but I've only tried sheer .i love elf products and services and use lots of them I believe in a true review.

Is this primer goes on matte or shimmery? I read some reviews that says glittery, so I want to ask people who has used it before: does it look glittery after it is dried?

Asked by: cathy45
Not the sheer from a true elf user and a honest answer.

Does this primer hide creepiness in eyes over 60?

Asked by: Beeb
Truthful no I have used the sheer which is a light color I'm very pale and light in color and could almost use it as an eye concealer. I don't know about other colors but have read in reviews that all but sheer have some irrderference in them also I really like most of the elf products Ive tried but this also left some crease for me. After a while.

I'm confused, in description area it says to apply to fingertip, yet there's an applicator. Do u put it on your finger from applicator vs dabbing some on finger from bottle? I'd think if using applicator, the bottle would eventually get "germy" inside

Asked by: Rumeur
Apply with applicator attached to product then blend in with fingers once on eyelid.
