Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously the best light moisturizer EVER I had been looking for a light moisturizer as cream moisturizers are always too heavy and leave my skin feeling gross. I had been using a gel moisturizer which was fine, but they are hard to find in the stores and when I do, there are only a couple to choose from. On a whim, I was buying some makeup here and decided to check out the skin care line. I noticed this product and the description and thought, well why not. It is amazing. It literally has the neatest texture, is incredibly light, and literally feel like water on your skin after the balm melts. My skin feels moisturized but not greasy. I hope this never goes away, I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't pre-judge this product. First of all, this moisturizer is not a cream. The picture on the website is misleading, because one of the images shows a picture of the open product, and it has a whipped consistency, as if it were any other night cream. This is not the case! However, although this is not a cream it definitely is great at moisturizing. Initially, I made the mistake of dampening my skin, (like I would with any other moisturizer). That doesn't work with this product. You need a clean, dry face to let this product do its job, and so it won't run into your eyes. It smells TERRIFIC. Love this balm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super funky at first but wonderful I thought this was the funkiest thing I had put on my face because the very thick cream turns to a very watery consistency as soon as it comes in contact with my hands and face. It felt like I was just spreading water on my face but it works very well. Cruelty free and wonderful price. Cant beat that!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cool but not worth it So I had read the reviews for this product which made me really excited. I mean a balm that will turn into a liquid sounds super exciting right? These high expectations led to a high level of disappointment. While the balm does turn into water when you touch it, it also is VERY strongly scented like they dumped a lot of fragrance in there. Also, it doesn't seem to do much for my skin. It doesn't make it more hydrated and just sits on my skin without absorbing that well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love I needed a moisturizer and i bought this one because it was cheap and cruelty free! The packaging was nice and the container was heavy. It's like a balm but once it's rubbed in it makes ky skin feel great and it's not oily!! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So fun to use and it works! I have extremely dry skin and I am always on the hunt for moisturizers. I had not tried this product and decided to give it a go. The container is very spa like and substantial. You get a nice amount of product for the price. The product itself is a pale yellow color and, like previous posts have said, is reminiscent of butter. Which made me happy because it looked so rich and creamy. The fragrance is very pleasant but if you are sensitive to fragrances this might not be for you. I used my elf spatula to apply product, this does not come with a spatula. I dipped some out with the spatula and placed it on my calves. It is the strangest sensation! It is creamy to the touch and then dissolves into water that your skin absorbs. Lovely cooling effect and a nice hydrating feel. This is a lightweight moisturizer. The effects do wear off and another application is needed. You will not be left with a greasy feeling whatsoever. I use it throughout the day on my hands, arms and other areas that I want to be moisturized but not have a lotion residue. I also use it on my face after moisturizing to lock in my moisturizer.I highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drink For Your Face... I have been using for awhile..And I keep in Fridge because it's been so hot and the coolness feels great...The only thing is I wish it came in a tube or pump for user use....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This stuff is amazing! This stuff is amazing! A little bit goes a long way and it smells great without being overpowering. I have normal-ish skin with dry spots around my T zone, especially in winter. Honestly, this stuff looks like butter, but it melts into your skin and hydrates really nicely.

Is this comparable to the Neutrogena hydro boost water gel?

Asked by: epredbone40
No. This is not a get cream. It is a solid balm that transforms into a watery consistancy when massaged into the skin.

Is it fragrance free? Or is it similar to the daily hydration moisturizer?

Asked by: Jasminep
It is not fragrance free, but very lightly fragranced. My extremely fragrance sensitive skin is not irritated at all by this product.

Hi. I was wondering at what point in your beauty regimen do you use the water droplet balm? Before your moisturizer, after your treatment? What about morning use with moisturizer with spf?

Asked by: Jeanie9900
Based on the description, I would say you can use this in place of your moisturizer. If you typically use a heavy moisturizer, this will be noticeably lighter- good for oily skin types, and a good, light alternative to heavy day creams for drier skin. If you're using this in the daytime, you would follow with a makeup primer (if you use one), and lastly, SPF. For your evening skincare routine, this just takes the place of your moisturizer. I have dry to normal skin, and based on the description, I think this would be too light to use at night, but take into consideration that I have not actually tried this moisturizer, I'm only going off the description and ingredient list. Hope this helps!

Please give us a little more information? What skin type is it best suited for? Any other benefits would be helpful :)

Asked by: OkDani
We suggest this for all skin types as it is a light moisturizer and especially works well for oily to combination skin. However even those with drier skin may wish to use this in the warmer months for a lighter moisturizer during the day, as it provides a refreshing sensation when applied.
